Precisely set your desired temperature with the easy-to-use digital control panels and trust in Tru-Vino Temperature Control Technology to protect your collection through consistent temperature maintenance.

Highlights

  • Two Temperature Zones:  Because red and white wine age differently, it is necessary to store them at different temperatures. Internal fans direct cool air where you need it, allowing you to set the lower temperature between 54-65 F for red wines and set the upper zone between 40-56 F for white wines. A state-of-the-art compressor provides powerful cooling while being efficient enough to meet the strict California Department of Energy consumption guidelines.
  • Wooden Shelves Extend on Rollers:  It comes with 14 sturdy wooden shelves gently cradle your bottles and reduce harmful vibration that could upset the sediment of your wine during long term storage. Telescoping roller assemblies extend all but the bottom shelf so that you can easily view and access the rear bottles, so you don't have to remove the front bottles to determine what is behind them.<
  • Digital Controls:  Control each zone easily and intuitively with the digital temperature display and push-button controls. The digital thermostat provides precise control by allowing you to adjust the temperature in one-degree increments. Once the desired temperature is set, the display will show the present temperature in the cabinet, allowing you to keep track of the unit's performance. You can also control the lights, toggle between Celsius and Fahrenheit, or turn the unit off with the push of a button.
  • Attractive Design: The classic design elements incorporated into this stunning wine cellar will be sure to impress your friends in any environment. Its sides and top have a sleek black finish so it can be used freestanding in the dining room, while its front-venting construction allows it to be built into cabinetry for a seamless look in the kitchen. Cool blue display lighting, elegant wood wine racks, and a brushed stainless steel door frame complete the wine cooler's appealing look.

    Superior racking layout.

I’ve owned the VSWR128 and YHWR172 and can provide some consumer insight on these models.
Flexcount Series VSWR128 128 bottle Single zone that “...features metal shelving....”
Classico Series YHWR172 172 bottle dual zone “...bottles are stored on sturdy wooden wine racks...”

     - Units installed free standing in my basement which is a relatively constant 70F and 50% humidity.
     - Racking: The 128 unit has metal shelves with wood slats. Burgundy style bottles didn’t fit well. They fit, but the full 128 bottle capacity was impossible to achieve. In addition, the wood/chrome finishing on the face of each rack was attached with screws which protruded just enough so that my labels were being torn up. I ended up removing the chrome finishing and re-attaching the underlying wood with recessed screws. That small change made a difference. On the other hand, the Classico series 172 bottle has wood shelves. Burgundy bottles fit well. IMHO the Classico racking layout is superior. This is the most important takeaway from my experience.
     - Longevity: The 128 unit stopped working after 2 years and was removed from service. The 172 bottle unit is only a few months old at this point.
     - Cooling: The 128 bottle unit was set to 50F and maintained a constant temperature (until it stopped working). The 172 bottle unit is set to 50F for the upper zone and 60F for the lower zone. I haven’t done a wet temperature test but the unit reports temps +/- 2F, which is ok for my storage needs.

    So far so good!

We bought this fridge for our wine room and it will be used mainly for reds. The look of this unit is very high end and it looks great in the space.
The fridge temperature will never be the same on top as the bottom, will always be a couple of degrees difference. Not a huge deal.
The light in the unit could be brighter, hard to see your choices.
Like the fact that it comes with two handles, the curved and the straight.
Drawers slide quite easily and are very sturdy. Wood face looks great.
Would be useful if you could field change the door swing, you can’t, must be determined upon ordering.
We have only had the unit for a week now, too early to give a complete assessment.
    But, so far so good.
I would recommend this unit based on price and looks, good deal!

Great option to start a wine cellar!

how to choose a new appliance

    What Should You Look For?

    Proper Dimensions

Nothing is more important than knowing the exact measurement of the space in which you will be placing your new appliance.  Once you have these measurement, you will need to consider the following things:

    • Build-in units - Designed to slide snugly in between kitchen cabinets.  These types of units need to have the exhaust vent in the front of the appliance where the air can escape easily.
    • Freestanding units - Designed to stand alone under the countertop. Compressor coils are on the back of the unit. Rear coils must maintain adequate air flow, so you'll need to keep several inches of free space behind and around the sides.  Refer to the Owner’s Manual for specific requirements of the appliance you are interested in. You may also want to know if the unit has adjustable feet.  This may come in handy if you want to raise the unit.
    • ADA Compliant units - Designed to meet ADA height and government guidelines in public accommodations, commercial establishments, and assisted living facilities. These models are available for built-in and freestanding installation.  The units are typically 4” to 6” shorter than a standard 36” kitchen countertop.
    • Door Clearance - The measurement that is required for the right or the left door with or without handles to be from adjacent cabinet walls so they can be opened 90°. Refer to the Owner’s Manual Installation Guide.

Where Are You Going To Put It?

    Location

To choose the right appliance, you must find one that meets the needs of that space.  Outdoor kitchen. Basement wine cellar. Indoor kitchen. Residential or commercial establishment. Institutional establishment.  Be sure to look for your specific location requirements when you’re reading through the features of an appliance.

What Features Are Important To You?

Here’s a list of features that may be important to you:
