Not All Wine Bottles Are The Same - Read Before You Buy!

Bottle Size Matters...

When choosing the right wine refrigerator for your collection, don't forget to check the sizes of your wine bottles.  Most manufacturers list "bottle capacity" that is designed for standard Bordeaux bottles (750 ml) with a base diameter of up to 3". 

Larger bottles will reduce the capacity of the refrigerator and may also interfere with shelving above or below the wine bottle causing you to remove shelves to accommodate larger bottles, thus decreasing capacity.  If you have a collection of wine bottles that are not the standard Bordeaux 750 ml bottles, then it might be better to get a larger wine refrigerator to accommodate all of your bottles.

Be sure to check user manuals or specification sheets to ensure your new wine cooler will work for you.
